Donating to AIOA

AIOA was formed as Opera Foundation Victoria in 1983 by Jeanne Pratt, AC. Since then it has funded more than 30 young Australian opera singers to study in the best opera schools in the UK. It is a not for profit organisation managed by a Board of volunteers.  The Music Board together with the RCM selects the annual winner and with the approval of the Board, award the winner the scholarship.

The Board of the AIOA raise funds each year in order to secure the AUD$50,000 required to support the scholarship.

The RCM International Opera School raise funds each year in order to provide GBP£10,000 towards the scholarship.

The total amount raised each year is approximately AUD $70,000.

All donations to the Australian International Opera Awards are tax deductible and we welcome your help in supporting our young singers of tomorrow.

ALL DONATIONS OVER $2 TO THE AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL OPERA AWARDS ARE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE AND WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN SUPPORTING OUR YOUNG SINGERS.
